O KAVI
Nekisse – prej Beloya – je bila prva kava od Ninety Plus, ki so jo razvili v Etiopiji, leta 2007 pa je bila prva kava, ki je na Coffee Review dosegla 97 točk.

Ustanovitelj Ninety Plus Joseph Brodsky se je leta 2006 preselil v Etiopijo, da bi ustanovil Ninety Plus. 2 leti je živel s polnim delovnim časom v Etiopiji, z lastnimi rokami in intuicijo je fermentiral in sušil kave. Te majhne serije (Micro Selections Aricha in Beloya) so bile najprej odpeljane na turnejo po specializiranih pražarnah po nordijskih državah, ki še niso okusile naravne predelane kave te ravni. Hitro so postale kave od Ninety Plus izbor državnih prvakov baristov, ki so jih predstavili na odru svetovnega tekmovanja baristov v Kopenhagnu leta 2008. Te kave so bile prve kave z enim poreklom, naravno procesirane, ki so bile predstavljene na svetovnem prvenstvu baristov in so bile predhodnice sedanje Panama Nekisse.

Ninety Plus, ki velja za eno najbolj znanih kmetij na svetu, od leta 2007 deli svojo ideologijo proizvodnje posebne kave s proizvajalci v Panami z močnim poudarkom na varstvu okolja. Ninety Plus sodeluje pri pogozdovanju 1000 hektarjev v Panami. Kave Ninety Plus so v preteklih letih osvojile večino kavnih prvenstev na najvišji ravni tekmovanj.


ABOUT COFFEE
Nekisse – formerly Beloya – was the first coffee Ninety Plus developed in Ethiopia, and in 2007, it was the first coffee to score 97 points on Coffee Review.

Ninety Plus Founder, Joseph Brodsky, moved to Ethiopia in 2006 to start Ninety Plus. He lived full-time in Ethiopia for 2 years, fermenting and drying coffees with his own hands and intuition. These tiny batches (the Aricha and Beloya Micro Selections) were first taken on a tour to specialty roasters in the Nordic countries who hadn’t tasted natural processed coffees of this level prior. They quickly became the choice of national barista champions who featured them on the World Barista Competition stage in Copenhagen in 2008. These coffees were the first single-origin, natural process coffees to be presented in the World Barista Championships and were the precursors of the current Panama Nekisse.

Accounted as one of the most famous farms in the world, Ninety Plus has shared its specialty coffee production ideology with producers in Panama since 2007 with strong focus on environmental protection. Ninety Plus participates in the reforestation of 1,000 hectares in Panama. In past years, Ninety Plus coffees has won most high-level coffee championships.
