RECEPTURA – YEMEN QISHR

JEMENSKI TRADICINALNI ČAJ

Ali ste kdaj okušali zgodovinski Jemenski začinjen čaj iz lupinic kavnih češenj (cascara) , cimeta, ingverja in kardamoma. Gre za tradicionalni napitek, ki se v Jemnu imenuje Yemen Qishr, v Etiopiji Geshar ali Hashara v Boliviji pa Sultana in so si med seboj različni. V tem postu vam predstavljamo recepturo, kako si Yemen Qishr pripravite doma.

SESTAVINE
1 skodelica kavnih lupin (Qishr)
8 skodelic vode
2 žličke naribanega ingverja
1/2 žličke cimeta
1/2 žličke semena kumine

KAKO PRIPRAVITI
Kavnim lupinam, ki jih rahlo zdrobimo, dodamo 8 skodelice vode in počakamo, da voda zavre. Nato dodajte vse ostale sestavine, dobro premešajte in pustite, da se ta mešanica namaka 5-6 minut na srednjem ognju. To pijačo postrezite, ko je vroča.

It is a traditional beverage called Yemen Qishr in Yemen, in Ethiopia Geshar or Hashara in Bolivia it is Sultan and they are different from each other. In this post, we present a recipe how to prepare Yemen Qishr at home.

Ingredients:
1 cup coffee husks (Qishr)
8 cups water
2 tsp grated ginger
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp caraway seeds

How to prepare
To lightly grinded coffee husks add 8 cups of water and wait till water boil. Now add in all other ingredients, stir well and let this mixture steep for 5-6 minutes on medium-low heat. Serve this drink while is hot.
